The rampant lion crest and script wordmark shown here have marked genuine Cisitalia coachwork since the marque’s founding in Turin in 1946 — a badge collectors still look for first when evaluating whether a car is what it claims to be. Eurocoachworks provides expert authentication and certification services for the Cisitalia marque, one of the rarest and most historically significant names in postwar Italian motoring. With fewer than 200 examples of the original Cisitalia 202 ever built, and decades of coachbuilder, ownership, and restoration history behind each surviving car, verifying authenticity requires more than a signature — it requires hands-on knowledge of how these cars were actually built.
